Over the past 20 years, the Archaeological Practice has produced thousands of archaeological reports and is currently digitizing our historic archives for access through the online Oasis database, housed with the Archaeology Data Service, University of York.
This extensive process is ongoing, with many reports now available online. Please keep checking with the ADS for regular updates.
A seperate category, listing reports for our Community Projects and larger Research Projects, including Historic Village Atlases, will be available soon.
In the mean time, please see below an example of a recent community project:
- Cockshot Dene Coal Mining Remains, Prudhoe, Northumberland. Archaeological Record and Excavation. September 2019. The work focussed on remains of an extensive coal mining operation known as West Wylam Colliery and was produced for the Land of Oak & Iron, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
