Established by Newcastle University in the 1980s as a commercial wing of the Department of Archaeology, The Archaeological Practice became a limited company in 2001. We are happy to provide field-school placements for students of archaeology from any university.
The Archaeological Practice is a BAJR verified contractor, is run by a MCIfA postholder, is a SMAS accredited contractor for health & safety, and holds valid CSCS cards for all staff.
